you just had to be the first, didn't you. kick things off early with another slam at Islam. it's getting really old mncollegekid. how about finding something else to talk about. we could talk about N. Ireland and the fact that it took almost 30 years for Christians to stop killing each other. At least it would be a change.

I've spent 15 months in Afghanistan. It's a total waste of time being there. Don't let sappy journalism fool you. The Afghans are welfare cases on a global scale. We've got better things to do with our money at home, like get aid to the Katrina victims.

zdfg2003 if you were in the service, thankyou, you gave alot for your country. history will be the judge of whether it was worthwhile or not. i just dont know what the alternative to being there is. how do we prevent it from being a haven/planning base for those who want to kill americans. how do we bring to justice bin laden and his ilk if we arent there? who will protect the regular afganis when the taliban crazies descend out ot the mountains again?

i think we can trace the of the problems we face with Afghanistan, Iraq to a phony election in america in 2000 and its disastrous results. we knew the taliban, Osama and Saddam were mighty bad way before then though so it just must also be american (presidents/politicians)way - always betting on the wrong horse, backing up dictators, etc., ad nauseum. Maybe, God willing, the next u.s. president will learn something important about american foreign policy and apologize to the world first for taking on the mantle of police of the world and start to really take care of problems at home - how about rooting out/incarcerating/executing the american as apple pie terrorists living on american soil for starters eh? KKK, aryan nations, and all the other crazy white boys. tirjasn

I think Collegekid should start studying history in his college, he'd find out things like it was the US that sent over weapons and other war tools to help the muslums fight them russian commies. The russians knew before the americans about islam extremists and it's threats to the world, why did the US help the afganies ??????, because they were going up against the russians, period. The US government had no problems sending @#$% loads of weapons to their buddy "Osama Bin Laden", which some are now being used against US troops. And then when the war was over, the US gov. didnt give a damn about the power vacuum that was going on in that country, thats how the Taliban started. Oh collegekid, Osamas first cuz is George bush's good friend, he calls him "Bundi Bush". And after bin Laden ordered that horrific explosian that killed lots of good marines in the middle east, it was the Bin laden construction company that got the contract to rebuild the destroyed Marines quarters, Kind of Ironic. And why, after 911, all air flights were cancelled in the US, parents and families of the dead in the twin towers wern't allowed to come home to the US to see if their kids were alive or dead, but george bush allowed a few jets to take of and leave US air space the day after 911 ..... and who was on those planes your asking, well it was the Bin ladens and other Arabs, some were reported to be financiers and other money people for Bin Ladens terrorist group. It was US policy that created these @#$% s, and it takes a brainwashed young mind to come up with retoric against arabs as a whole. Jeeze kid stay in school, you really need it

"takin it to em" = creating many more by justifying the assertions of the extremist leaders that we are a threat to them. We interfere in their politics. We facilitate the overthrow of their governments. We place military bases in their holy lands. We occupy their countries. It sounds to me like their is plenty of craziness to go around. You don't seriously think that the bible is any less violent and murderous than the Koran, do you? They are both superstitious nonsense and our species really needs to let religion fade away before we destroy ourselves. There was a time when religion ruled the world...it was called the dark ages.

tirzajackson what the heck was that about. how do people just forget 9/11 and how clinton/gore were bombing aspirn factories in response to americans being attacked. what did the election of 2000 have to do with 9/11? what were we to do when the taliban refused to give over bin laden? surely another aspirin factory wouldnt have done the trick, neither would have getting a johnsons in the oval office when serious business needed attention.

If you want to stop islamic terrorists, it's really quite simple, in the early 1900's there was a US marine called major Black "I think", he was in the Phillipins and some citizens were slaughtered by islamic extremists, Black caught them "about 50 of them", he shot 49 of them, threw them in a hole, slaughtered a couple of pigs, and threw the blood, entrails and then the bodies of the pigs were thrown in the hole on top of the men. He let 1 man go to tell the rest of the extremists what had happened, and there wasnt another attack by any muslim group for over 60 years. Muslims believe that when they die for their god they go to some heaven where they drink milk and honey and have endless virgins to deflower, when they touch or eat a pig, they dont get to go heaven. Maybe the US should change their burying policy for terrorists.

damn urinatori, are you still upset that Clinton got a @#$% . jesus, get over it. perhaps if Bush got one once in a while, he might relax enough to use his brain and consider the long-term reprecussions of his foreign policy rather than constantly playing the role of the macho redneck simpleton.
